Wells High School, I was involved in student government and several business-related extracurriculars. Through those experiences, I learned a lot about turning ideas into something tangible, taking initiative, and making the most of the opportunities I was involved in, all of which played a big role in both my college application process and my personal growth. I know firsthand how valuable it can be to have someone to ask questions, bounce ideas off of, or turn to for advice, especially when you’re figuring out what you want your next steps to look like. I played volleyball, basketball, and tennis in high school and was involved in an outdoor group called Post 58. In California I’m learning to surf and going to join the frisbee team at school. I study biology at Cal Poly and am thinking of going to medical school post-grad!

Hi! My name is Andie Wieber. I was a student at Ida B. Wells and I graduated in 2024. I currently am attending the University of Idaho and I am a student athlete on the swim team. I went through the recruiting process and I learned a lot along the way. So, if you're thinking about college athletics I would love to be someone you can talk to. I really enjoyed my time in high school and made some of my favorite memories during those four years, but it definitely wasn't always easy. There's so much to navigate, not only school but things like sports, friendships, college, and just figuring out what you want to do with your life. I for sure did not have everything figured out and there's a lot of things I wish I had known. I'd love to share some things I have learned or just help you think through whatever you may be going through. Also, if you want to just talk, vent, hang out, have someone listen, or get another perspective I am here for you!
